Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why do legacy T make more than legacy B??

We do the same work in the same location. I had a peer ask why they have to ride the same elevator?

Why does stinky make more than anyone else in the company when all he does is make bad decisions that end up putting us more in debt?

Which position? Outside longlines tech? If so they are oncall 24/7 , responsible for a larger footprint, manager multiple duties such as power work, fiber work, central office work, contractor coordinating, on-site engineering, construction work, work alone long distances, also work with little or no manager guidance/input. Generally take on more responsibility that doesn't end after a ticket or when a shift ends. We also get snow mobiles and ride helicopters to remote areas which is cool.

Sounds like someone’s elevator isn’t going to the top floors.
