what LOB?
@a5 Exactly that! Upper management gets reports that tell them how long each person has been in the office. If you don’t average 3/2 and your direct manager is supposed to discuss with you. If they don’t or haven’t been, they’re likely to get reprimanded along with you. This is not just one dept. we were told this is ALL team members who are required 3/2
@ga company wide or specific orgs?
@f1, yep. Official announcement is supposed to come out tomorrow or next week. Verbal announcement (at least in my vertical) came out today.
@f3, this actually got confirmed today. Official announcement hasn’t come out yet (written email), but verbally came down today. It won’t start until 1/1/26 though.
Ha. They'll make them fit by simply firing thousands of more people until there's plenty of room. The whole "there's no space" thing won't stop the HY cancer from spreading.
Lots of core locations are struggling with space limitations even with 3 days. Unlikely that there would be company wide mandate for that reason. Policy since RTO started has been that 3 days is minimum, and individual groups can have different requirements.
A coworker told me his wife drives him to work and packs his lunch too.
@f1 All of Corp Risk DF wants CR to set the example.
all of corporate risk moving to 4 days in office by January?
@ba CAO, 3 days 6hrs.
January 4 days
We were just notified today in our team meeting that 4 days is required in January.
Corp risk starts in Jan.
The rest will follow as 2026 drags on.
We shall see OP. There's no depths HY won't stoop to in their quest to torment domestic workers into leaving, so it's certainly possible. They want us all gone.
I heard today that the announcement on 4 day in office requirement will be made in January.
@b9 I agree, if we have to be in the office a whole day for 8 hours, I need my own desk.
3 days a week so far for us, 7 hours minimum. COO.
Lets go and assign me a permanent desk
It is 4 days, at least that’s what my boss’s boss said earlier this month. CIB COO.
My vote is to go to 5 days.
Funny it feels like we are in the show squid games.
I am told we need to accelerate voluntary attrition by any mean’s possible. Phony reviews and ratings, slashing bonuses , I unrealistic workload and deadlines and return to office mandates are all in play.
Coffee badging works for 4 days too.
No they aren't. At least not across the board.
We are up to 6 in my LOB.
Best,
I didn't do three. No chance I'm doing four. Good luck!
news is starting to trickle down. going to happen in January across the board. So for all those complaining about 3 and coffee badging, thanks.
