@a3 The guy is a prime example of how to fail upwards. How he got as far as he did beggars belief. Surprised nobody sussed him out before he was made Head of Upstream.
@OP The only deep experience he ever had was with numerous female employees. Apparently, when he was questioned by corporate lawyers Freshfields at the request of the Board, he admitted to four employees. I think that is rather wide off the mark. As you say, they better lock up pretty female employees.
