Anyone else hearing rumors of layoffs / RTO Phase 2 for next week ahead of all hands mtg on Wednesday?

Anyone know or think we’ll get a tangible update re: Phase 2 from DG in the Product & Tech Town Hall on Mar 4?
@gj eat Ellison ‘s fascist di-k
@16t Ugh, a 4 - 5 month wait, more uncertainty to deal with in the mean time, just great! Hopefully I'll be gone by then. Actively looking for jobs.
@pd there was an ad sales town hall on Wednesday. It was stated that phase two news would most likely come at the end of the second quarter (June). Nothing definitive, but seems aligned with last year.
@jp uh, no. The vast majority of ad agencies have their HQs in New York. AD Sales would have to stay in NYC as well. Finance and HR could move and possibly brand studios.
@jm you will be laid off next.
Well, ABC-Good Morning America left Times Square for a reason. No one has filled in that empty gap. It looks terrible abandoned…With Paramount bleeding money…
i didn't get a town hall email - what part of the company is doing that ?
@jp is guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. 1515 isn’t closing and neither is ccc. Cbs ops will move to Long Island then the bc goes.
@k9 Is it not obvious? Those who did RTO can be fired or asked to move, except roles that have to be performed in the area like local productions. Just because you did RTO doesn't save your job in the next round/scheme/phase
@jm scythe joke is on you. You still work for that disaster a company. Good luck trying to get a decent bonus or severance…loser!
@jp LOL Fantasies. So if they close 1515 where are you going to put all the RTO people? Hudson Street?
And who would take that place if the landlord were to kick us out? The landlord's last best hope was the casino which is now dead.
Not sure what phase it is, but they are closing down 1515 as soon as they can. And don't think that those jobs are staying on the east coast in some NJ lor LI location (if they are it's just temporarily). Landlord is dying to get rid of us at the right price, and makes no sense to have anyone in NY except CBS related business. DE and his minions don't want to keep going to NY even if it's just a few times a year.
@gj Joke's on you, old timer. As a Phase 1 employee back in office 5 days/week, I do WAY less work now than when I was WFH and I know for a fact I am not the only one. Enjoying my "in office" vacation!
@gj not the person you were tagging, but don't worry, i'm submitting my two weeks this week and heading to a new job which is 3 days in office but 2x the compensation.
DE has no idea how to run a company; most remote FTE's are already job hunting and the good ones will be out.
@d0 You. Get used to being in an office 5 days a week. Vacation is over. If you don’t like it, there’s the door.
@aa that’s absolute BS.
Near...Far...WHEREVER YOU ARE.....
@a2 I hope I'm considered "near" so I can take the severance option just like Phase 1 and GTFOH!!!!
@a2 What's considered "near"?
@c9 is the town hall an all employee meeting? i don't see a email
@bv sorry, should have been phrased as Town Hall, not all hands meeting.
@OP What all hands meeting?
@aa who are you speaking for all groups? I've been here over 25 years and still oblivious to a lot of groups that post here about things I've never heard before.
Nah. Remote workers will be fine and given exemptions. Some groups who are close to offices have already been given exemptions bc of their role.
@OP Remote workers are next. Especially those living near offices.
