If my last day on payroll is 12/19 but my work anniversary is January 1 do I get a prorated amount or is it a hard cut off for years of service?

@a2 It's now almost 2pm EST and I cannot get in following the steps in the letter after opening that. I have opened a case as I was instructed to do. Why am I surprised that this is the case.
You were only given one month to wrap up? Off payroll in 4 weeks vs fully at the end of 2025?
It will say on your severance letter...
