Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

More layoffs?

Of course it’s a rumor but…. Has anyone else heard of layoffs coming to the default world (Collections, Recovery, operations)? I have always had good connections here but I am relatively new. curious if someone else can validate what I heard. From what I heard there were going to be changes in Q1 2026 on top of what is happening now.

Anyone placed on a PIP is being told by their boss that their boss is working almost daily to get you fired.

I think this is just our reality. There will be constant layoff's.

Be on the lookout for employees to be placed on 30 day PIPs in order to avoid paying out severance. My peer was termed after a 30 day PIP for a frivolous reason. Do not trust people here.
