Remember when these were the buzzwords in WF tech and we all were told to run to those shiny objects? Learn those and protect yourself from layoffs. Then BE came on board and she read something about AI on a buzz feed list called "ten things you must know about tech to sound qualified" and now we are all in on AI. Hey, by the way, what's the ROI on that? Especially since the gatekeepers are actively discouraging actual deployment. Be like BE and her BNY crew, move slow and continue to break things. Winning!

OP you are being a little hard on BE just because she is unqualified. After her first fireside chat, I never pictured her being able to read.
@ax wow. I will never be able to think of SVB, BE, or TK and not think of them as the three blind mice. If you replaced them with actual monkeys morale would go up and the monkeys wouldn't have to force people to go to their town halls.

Blockchain was a big deal but pretty niche. NFTs were a big deal for a minute in some circles.
AI is more hyped like cloud was a few years ago.
AI is the new quantum.
Can add agile transformation and Cloud migration to the tech silver bullet train. In terms of investment AI is trumping them all.
TK, SVB, BE have no idea how to strategize or keep abreast of technology and how to apply it to WF environment. They think everything is cookie cutter and WF can adopt it. They never look upstream or downstream to see EVERYTHING that has to change. These are the 3 blind mice of Wells.. heck of technology as a whole. All three should be replaced by actual monkeys.
It's been over a decade since I was told quantum computing would take over within a decade. Blockchain still has it's disciples, though the shine is pretty much gone. AI is a mixed bag. Some businesses thrive by leveraging it, most haven't seen a tangible outcome for the cost.
@OP So true. Remember all of it. Also remember when they forced everyone to us AI daily or it would be on a report. THEN, the mo--ns got the first usage bill and panicked. There is no strategy in technology and do not be led to believe there is.
