@OP, in your case I would say the odds are very, very high.

@bp I couldn't remember one, Google search says no:

There may have been smaller, targeted layoffs in that time frame. As the Slack numbers show, ~100 here and there does happen sporadically. If your project gets cancelled you could be let go along with all your team. I have seen that happen at other firms, including one founded in a Palo Alto garage.
@at I'm not remembering didn't they lay off some people in December also last year?
I’m hearing December
Original September list was huge. And they pared it down so that there wasn’t a huge disruption.
The idea is now they’re going to wait until early December and make the updates to the headcount they wanted
