Based on Shankar’s email, can we conclusively assume that layoffs are done for TPG at least? It seem to hint at that direction I would say.

Layoffs are never over. There may be a slight pause from time to time but don't mistake that for a permanent cease.

From my perspective, news this significant should come through more official channels. Were the original layoff announcements sent out by each BU’s SVP? I can’t recall.
