Forced attrition

Well, their plan is working. Over the last month two of my most talented colleagues have left for other firms. As predicted by every study, the forced attrition is working through departures of the most talented. The only folks being left behind are those that cannot leave, the CVX cultists, and the unhireable (which we have so so so many of). It’s like watching a company rot before your very eyes…

The goal is lower cost of employees by hiring the replacements in India. Even the MSP contracts that are being signed charge American prices for India labor and the profits are collected by Accenture, LTI, E&Y, WiPro, HCL, Etc.
Chevron lowered the number of employees and are paying american prices for replacements in India. :)

If they didn’t leave they would be out the door with everyone else. This is a sinking ship. The talented will move on. The company will get what they asked for.
