Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

I've survived twelve months of nonstop bad news

I joined Citi in July last year, and since then it's been nothing but cuts, stress, increases in workload, and a plethora of other issues. Every time I thought it was over, something else happened. Is it always going to be like this? What are the chances of things improving at some point in the future?

I have been at Citi over 20 years. I would say the first 5 years were good, fun and exciting. Last 15 have been soul draining. Have only stayed since the pay and benefits have been good.

Go to NY/NJ, there’s the WARN notice with apparently 10 different options that can play out.

I've been with Citi since 2022 and it's been multiple rounds of layoffs every year before they even announced Bora Bora. I've worked for other companies but never have I seen a company like this I'm still here and have survived every round of layoffs since by being a top performer and just being lucky. If you can find something with same pay at another company take it
