It was great seeing our world class leaders post about Mother’s Day just days after they laid off mothers and pressure the ones remaining to figure out how to absorb the work. The ones that work 16 hours a day and work their teams to burnout posting about family time are especially hypocritical. What a special place our Verizon family is. The authenticity is contagious. Verizon's modis operandi -- layoff before some holiday. Last go around notice was 5 days before Thanksgiving and last day was 5 days before Christmas. Cr-ppy as heck! Sorry you were impacted.

lol This when I worked at VZ I was doing a 3rd round interview for a new role and the hiring manager asked me how soon was I planning on having kids. I felt ambushed and didn’t know what to say.
Few years later I got laid off while on baby bonding leave. They are hypocritical.
@OP 100% just before Mother’s Day. I feel like we should band together the ones that recently came back from parental leave.
