Walking pad under desk?

Does anyone know of any formal policy that prohibits employees from bringing a walking pad (electric treadmill) to campus to use under their desk? I have a dedicated spot, so no hot desking involved. Or is this a classic situation of “ask forgiveness, not permission” ?

@OP I don’t understand why you can’t just walk the hallway. Literally. It feels like you’re trying to solve a simple problem in the most complicated way possible. Are you an ExxonMobil hi-po?

@OP If you have your own workspace you should be able to bring it and put it there without any issues.

If anyone asks just tell them your doctor recommended it for XYZ reason.
