VERIZON PAYROLL CALCULATED OT WRONG FOR NO TAX ON OT

Has anyone heard about payroll calculating your OT that you can deduct for the no tax on OT wrong. Hearing rumblings that they didn't include any call outs because of the E11,E21, etc codes used on your timesheet. Are they going to be re-issuing W2's ?

Strategic Analysis: The 90-Day Outlook for Enterprise CX (Spring 2026)
As the enterprise communications sector prepares for Q2 2026, the industry is witnessing a disciplined transition from legacy hardware to software-defined, AI-integrated ecosystems. For organizations navigating this space, the next 90 days will likely be defined by a "Harvest and Pivot" strategy designed to secure long-term stability.

  1. The Stability Narrative: Securing the "Mid-Term" Window
Industry events in March, such as Enterprise Connect, are shifting focus away from traditional PBX sales and toward "Innovation without Disruption." * The Unified Context Layer: By positioning AI and data orchestration as an overlay that sits above existing hardware, vendors can extend the life of legacy infrastructure. This "bridge" allows enterprises to adopt cloud intelligence without the immediate risks of a full "rip-and-replace" migration.

The Goal: Success here is measured by roadmap commitments. Expect to see support guarantees extending through 2029, a clear effort to stabilize maintenance revenue while funding the transition to native cloud platforms.

  1. Operational Refinement: The Move to "Surgical" Efficiency
The era of broad, headline-grabbing workforce reductions is evolving into a more nuanced approach of "org simplification."

Role Elimination vs. Headlines: Instead of large-scale layoffs, expect a shift toward targeted role eliminations and contracting changes. This minimizes market friction and protects brand reputation among large enterprise clients.

The "Rebadging" Trend: A key leading indicator is the movement of internal support functions to third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs). This allows companies to maintain service continuity while transitioning fixed labor costs into a variable, "asset-light" model.

  1. The Partner Dynamic: Balancing Scale and Control
The reliance on a "Partner-First" delivery model creates a complex paradox for major vendors.

The Scaling Tension: Vendors must offload support costs to partners, yet they remain wary of those same partners facilitating migrations to competitors during renewal cycles.

Thanks for this information, I was wondering why I’ve been getting random deposits from Verizon over the last few weeks.

Because Verizon Payroll is too busy catering to re--rded employees, folks who love to bullsh-t all day and 25 smoke breaks in an 8 hour period. And they get rid of anyone who does actual work.

The tax deduction only applies to overtime premium required by the fair labor standards act. Overtime as part of a collective bargaining agreement and other premiums like oncall do not qualify. There are lots of good articles out there about what qualifies. https://www.bakertilly.com/insights/no-tax-on-overtime-deduction-under-code-225
