We had 3 PT positions added to beauty

Anyone know the list for April cuts ?

700+ were on the list of cute for the west coast region. Both part time and full time positions.

Can’t imagine how many in the other regions so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s thousands.

With that much payroll saved you’d think they’d then invest that into the stores and current employees. But nah, why do that when CEO dude and his besties need another couple million? Selfish losers.

This is the beginning of the end of the companies brick and mortar stores, IMO. Think only NY, Chicago, OC, Dadeland and SF will be standing in 2+ years.

Any store leader shakeups? If Macy's wants to turn six-two-one around they need to appoint a new leader.

In our store several colleagues will be offer a severance package.

I heard there are more cuts coming and this go around are the beauty merchandisers, part timers and the CXC role being cut.

It seems like part time positions in Beauty has been eliminated.

@e1 Placed into new roles? I’d love to see a beauty colleague go to work in RTW. They’d find out what work is.

@e1 Attrition not happening as expected because Beauty colleagues have the easiest job in the store. In most cases, they pick and choose what customers they want to help, don’t utilize MyClient as it was intended and stand around chatting at their leisure. Seriously, they aren’t held accountable. Our counters would be doing MUCH better if they focused on the customer.

@OP “over owned in Beauty and not experiencing the level of attrition anticipated”. Beauty colleagues in affected stores may be placed into new roles and some may be displaced as a result of this process.

Any Stylist positions being cut?

Is it only today? Any one hear about counter managers being cut ?
