Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

You can't catch Tiger by the tail.

πŸ… is rocking with results. The stock price has been really responsive to his improvements. Hopefully he continues with his quest to right the 🚒.

Tiger is not an out of control animal. He is very much in control.

Dont let wild animals run human beings. Wild animals should be caged or kept at a distance

Tiger is already moving the needle. Hopefully the board gives him all the backing he needs to get rid of the old guard.

Fair warning to all you slackers and grifting salespeople still employed here. Watch your tails. Tiger is on a mission to toss you out by it.

It will be more than 60 by the time Dan is done performing his magic. It will be legendary. The utter ineptitude of recent leadership has been hard to fathom. This man and his tiger style cleanup will be a subject of study in the future at elite business schools.

60 would be sweet. It hasn't been that high since that buffoon Lowell ruined things. I think he can accomplish this. The shareholders deserve qualified leadership. Tiger is capable. A good thing is that he is not beholden to the current and unqualified management team particularly on the wireless side of things. There is much more to this business than selling phones at a mall kiosk. Tiger gets this.

Yes Tiger is getting it done. Finally someone who has the sack is in charge. The multiple levels of inept wireless management are next on his hit list. Good riddance and as mentioned below 60 will certainly come along in the not so distant future.

@a4 Yes, lots more to go and even more up top. Remove the managers with less then 10 reports. Remove, not change the title and have them work with the same pay under another report

@b4 I have three layers of directors.. it’s worse.. we can not only survive but thrive with one..

@b4 what is the definition of 60, dont understand?

Why feel bad for the layers of management -- did these layers of management feel bad when the rank-and-file was RIFed previously??

It is every Verizon employee for themselves!!

@a4, yes, the deadwood (recurring operational expenses) needs to be expunged!!

However, there needs to be granular detail as evident be the share price to go up and has gone up nicely.

Minus the deadwood, Verizon needs to unleash its ability to capture and expand market share.
