Things have calmed down quite a bit where I am, but I’ve had plenty of time to process what’s happened. I’ve seen some great leaders move on to big roles in other companies, and many have retired. They’re even taking my car. When we started, there was a driven team of salespeople out there hustling and trying to win. Now, most of us are just here for the paycheck. Feels like it’s over. Props if you’re still here because you bleed blue. My blood is red, and I can’t stand Coke.

Rich executive problems. When I took my KAM job, I found out what the gentleman before me made. I mentioned it to my MD, and he said it was more than he makes. The guy was an L09, and I got his job as an L10. Anyway, there’s not much high income until you hit Lg3+, everything else just covers the bills. KAMs used to afford acreage and live a plush life, but now we can barely manage a two-bedroom condo in a major city.
When it’s part of the compensation package when you are hired it comes as a pay cut. Has your pay been reduced?
I am just waiting for payroll to be finally gone so I can get my package. until then I work from home doing minimal work mostly because they keep taking things away from my role
Most people working now don’t understand what you’re saying, I do. We used to be like a sports team going to battle it out everyday. Now it’s who can build the cutesy power point, or kiss butt the best. Putting people in jobs they have zero business being in.
