The word thru the grape vine is that promotions this year are not coming with monetary raises. You get all the increased responsibility, but your pay is staying put.

I have several friends over at Veeva. The grass is greener but it’s far from perfect. I’m personally working on a pivot away from office life in general.
@3e2 Veeva cut a lot of their benefits, actually. A lot of places are doing this because they know they can get away with being je-k was employers because so many people are desperate for work. It's major 2008 vibes.
@2t0 I'm not as well connected as many, but I know a fair few who were pushed out and have been trying for 6+ months to find work.
I also know a lot of internal people who are desperately trying to find other work. People who once gave 110%.
I wish senior leadership took stock of how competitors treat their staff (like Veeva) and correlated this to how the orgs are performing.
@2t0 I know people who were laid off who have not found steady jobs in several years. I've personally applied for a god number of jobs only to be rejected. You seem like you're just an angry person.
@1zp this such a d-mb thing to say “No one is hiring”. Do you think everyone laid off from this dumpster fire of Medidata hasn’t found a new, often much better, position? You all stay because you are scared. So just stay and be quiet about your no raises and dry promotions, while you put up with that ludicrous “leadership”. Mo--ns.
@1jy such a tone deaf response coming from a unique place of privelage. The job market is brutal and people have children to feed.

@OP Just find a new job!! Everyone should quit. Not sure why the remaining employees continue to subject themselves to corporate abuse 🤔.
Might be just me, but ‘outside of the cycle’ now just sounds like an excuse not to promote since we see people get promoted at various points throughout the year anyway
So basically the same as promotions from April?

@OP raises are not until next spring. Are you saying 2027 promotions are not getting raises? How can you know that so early?
