Charlotte here. I, like so many of us here, live much closer to Ballantyne than Uptown. Sorry, but I refuse to battle traffic and pay for parking only to jump on zoom since my team is nowhere near the east coast. I had my permanent office changed to Ballantyne, but I do see lots of you that are assigned to Uptown taking over the few private offices. I would appreciate any of the following:
-
Allow me to be fully remote since no one on my team is here (that is never going to happen)
-
Enforce building assignments (I don’t think they can at this point if ever)
-
Exit some of the real estate in Uptown and add more office space in south Charlotte so employees aren’t forced to pay for parking and deal with a nasty commute)
Is it too much to ask that this company get with the times and actually consider that when you treat employees with respect as adults and demonstrate you actually care about them that they may return the respect and feel better about their work? Wouldn’t this drive better outcomes?
