If you think that Billy, Jimmy, Kummy are really smart or intelligent, then Ford would be in better position and it is not.
They ones who need to leave Ford are Boston Consulting, Deloitte, Plante Moran, McKinsley, etc. all those Consulting firms who sold Ford the illusion of EV's and failed.
There have been many headcount reductions, re-org's, musical chairs among LL's

HR is empty of intellectuals, their policies are dictated by Boston Consulting, just ask those who were fired in Aug 2022, a lot of LL's based on fuzzy logic metrics
As long as Ford is run behind scenes by Consulting Firms, nothing good will come out

Look at things realistically. 85% of the Ford leadership team are just messengers and meeting makers and contribute nothing to the Ford’s bottom line. The leadership is scared and acts badly out of fear. They know they can’t get a comparable job elsewhere.
Let’s be honest most of the Ford leadership team can be dumped. They are easily replaced with AI-driven services. AI-driven services such as Jira, Asana AI, and ServiceNow can replace them in a heartbeat. The best thing Bill Ford could do is fire them all and let unemployment sort them out. Will it happen? Nope Bill will continue to fire experienced engineers, and continue to expand the bloated leadership structure.

I agree with this, primarily a couple of LL4s and an LL5 or two possibly a LL2 and an LL3 that I know of. The practical jokes need to end at this company. Note I did not mention an LL6 in that whole spiel? The place is sick and dying, best to let it go in peace. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Some of us are Sick from it all. Be kind, it’s not a nice place.

But I do see your point. It appears looking foolish is not an issue however. The remaining choice would work if lawfare wasn't present.

Jim Farley is not a good CEO, he knows very little what people want and Fords become a Recall Giant . Fords a mess with one car plus moral at its worst. Fire Farley and get a Real CEO that knows something about cars and trucks. And don't let Bill Ford do anything but go to events..
As long as Fartley and Billy are involved the company will continue to make bad decisions and flounder.
