I seriously don't believe this post. Each line doesn't ring true... HR planted post? probably.
"Have had 2 productive days back in office" I sincerely doubt it was MORE productive than WFH so why bring it up on a LAYOFF site... because they want to plan information that reporters will read and pass on that Wells RTO was going well..... Lies
"Was able to meet in person and have everyone present without talking over each other like the plague of conference calls" SERIOUSLY... plague of conference calls? no one talked over each other back 5 years ago on conference calls so this also seems like a lie. Also, we did conference calls while in the office because no one had a team with everybody in the same office... that never happened so RTO isn't getting back to something we never did which was in person meetings with the entire team... NEVER HAPPENED so why does this poster seem to think we would believe that they had an all team meeting in the same room... DID NOT HAPPEN... another lie
"Much faster network than at home"... HOW? it takes almost zero bandwidth to IM on teams or skype or whatever so what are they doing in the office that makes it seem like a "much faster network than at home" Again. another lie, it didn't happen
"Got to meet new colleagues in person which really is the best way to build relationships" hmmm not so sure about this ... got to meet new colleagues ? That sounds like HR speak to me... who says that? ok, maybe some people might like to meet in person, but they are not in IT... maybe sales people ... This one is a maybe at best and considering every other line in this post doesn't ring true, I am going to say no, this probably really didn't happen
RTO has been good for me...... You decide if they are telling the truth here or are just trying to make a living shilling propaganda.
