@143 DE is getting credit for the NFL on CBS? The NFL has been on CBS for 64 years. We were all well aware of the UFC deal well before DE was ever in the picture. And true, he did push through the Warner Brothers/Discovery deal, but on bad terms that are going to put us in debt and he acted like a petulant child after not being selected first all because he negotiated in poor faith (didn't put his best/final offer on the table, sent legal threats before the process was even finalized).
DE is giving Paramount employees a shot at a new American dream, so of course the board is silent.
It wouldn’t make sense to complain when DE has already delivered the UFC deal, the NFL/CBS deal, and the $110 billion Warner Bros. deal.
I can’t speak for everyone but they bought my silence with the free snacks in the office. A protein bar and a bag of popcorn are the highlights of my day.
