@14g It seems like the ‘ensh!tification’ of goods and services is everywhere these days.
@14d - cheap wages for short term financials. The opportunity cost is a next quarter problem. Rinse and repeat … the game benefits the cheap, not the skilled.
The Indian IT industry certainly has a stranglehold on US companies. I can’t tell if they truly have superior talent pools or just a lot of high level relationships and lobbying power.
Additional vendor resources are being added so executives have more places to travel. As long as India is not threatened, like it was with Ireland, more destinations will be added.
@a4 Based on the last sentence in the OP’s post, the vendor may be located in Denmark, which contains a population mainly comprised of Danes, Swedes, and Norwegians.
Perhaps, Elevance can also pay them less than what they pay American citizens and probably not have to cover their health insurance and also makes it easier to let them go once Elevance is through with them.
Are these resources housed in the Third World?
