Only 195 jobs? Ireland’s Intel plant must’ve found a unicorn, they’re practically immune while the U.S. gets gutted
Only up to 195 jobs are facing the axe at Intel’s Leixlip plant, under 5% of its roughly 5,000‑strong Irish workforce. Meanwhile, in the U.S., Intel is gearing up to cut 15–20% of its global headcount (that’s over 10,000 jobs starting mid‑July... — read more

Intel became an incredibly boring place, if you like what you do
A failing company has no use for hard-working, skilled people who still take pride in what they do. There is no room for passion or personal growth. Intel now runs on mediocrity because it became a mediocre company, one with no vision and no... — read more
Only one reason for Intel's failure.
Intel is in a bad situation because Intel didn't hire intelligent people. I had interviewed with Intel around 20 years ago and they didn't test my intelligence, they only tested my knowledge. I failed the interview because I couldn't answer one... — read more

The real lay off is next year

Not sure what to do

Is the SERMA account protected
Anyone have experience with losing their SERMA account if being ISPd. I'm 25+ years at Intel and have a healthy SERMA balance. Would that be at risk? Hopefully I'd be given the option to retire first if it was. I am eligible via the rule of 75.
