Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Grade 55 56 57 module equipment tech

We have lost our grade 56 and 57 techs. due to being higher earners probably, one of the guys asked to stay if he dropped from 56 to 55 but was denied, these techs have a great deal of module knowledge and will be sorely missed. We are now expected to take up their responsibilities and leadership with no comp involved, is there any way to push back against this ?

Brother - job market is bad and transitioning aggressively into ai. This is no time to pushback responsibilities. What you wanna do, quit and compete with the 56 and 57s already in market for job ?
