We have lost our grade 56 and 57 techs. due to being higher earners probably, one of the guys asked to stay if he dropped from 56 to 55 but was denied, these techs have a great deal of module knowledge and will be sorely missed. We are now expected to take up their responsibilities and leadership with no comp involved, is there any way to push back against this ?

@a7 lol so do more work with tge sane pay. You crazy Son.
Brother - job market is bad and transitioning aggressively into ai. This is no time to pushback responsibilities. What you wanna do, quit and compete with the 56 and 57s already in market for job ?
They let one of our two 57’s go. She was always on leave,
@b2 not more than you for sure.
Did you get invited to join Lip's dinner to become a bootlicker for a corporate that treats you like nothing but replaceable in a dime man?
Tech and high earner should never be be used in the same sentence. You have no idea how much the exempts scam the company for.
Which site is this happening?
Yes have you heard of quit quitting???
Learn some corporate skills man.
We had 2 level 57s. They laid off the one that always called in for one reason or another.
I knew it would eventually come to this. Get rid of the higher grade and higher paid techs, usually they are the ones that have been here over 20 years.
You have no 56/57 techs left in your module? Across all shifts? That would be unprecedented.
youre paid by the hour. Work as hard as you can while you’re there no matter the situation. Everything else is just noise.
