Do not worry too much, I am one of those who is always optimistic - things will pan out good and we will not have layoffs here in Minneapolis.

Sounds like it was pretty deep today. Will the cuts be as deep at the director level or are plates just getting larger?

Employees are hearing that there will be another round of layoffs.

The original Pillsbury technical center close to the scenic Mississippi river to be closed by 2017. Currently over 300 employees in this location. Number of jobs affected not disclosed.

This will take place in 2016, no specific date was provided. The plant was opened in the fifties. It's located in New Albany, Indiana - no info on how many workers will be affected.
