General Mills is eliminating up to 600 jobs with a global restructuring.
Most of the jobs will be lost here in the U.S., possibly this will include major cuts at the main office in Golden Valley...
Some cuts will be overseas - we do not know how much and who's affected. 3000 work in the corporate offices, so even a 300 cut would represent a major 10% layoffs, a massive reduction in force.
Overall, 40,000 employees work for General Mills - half of it is here in the states.
