“Massive” defined as historic even for GE. GE is always planning on layoffs. This one will be remembered for many years as one of the largest ever for GE. Layoffs are in GE’s standard business model.

John Rice and Beth Comstock has "decided to retire" amd Jeff Bornstein has "decided to leave GE".
