Disconnected company culture

Someone mentioned exactly what bothers me the most in this company - there is no good communication and there is a big disconnect within the company. Managers aren’t tightly in sync with workers and they should be. It's frustrating. I don’t know if... — read more

Layoffs versus attrition

During our weekly “Matt Wilcox” call Matt discussed the recent layoffs. Heartbreaking to hear that our company laid off any staff considering how overwhelmed everyone else. Then the call took a comical direction when he started to address the... — read more

Perspectives

The arguments here tend to bash either Fiserv for being useless or First Data for being thieves. Yabuki bad or decent or Frank bad or a monster. This is nothing new folks. GE had a great CEO in Jack Welch and Immelt was a disaster. Home Depot... — read more

Available remote jobs are not that good

I don't want to return to the office and I've been spending every free moment of my time looking for a new remote job. There are plenty of options right now, that's true. However, most of them come with a significant pay cut, which is something I... — read more

Remote Employee Layoffs Incoming

Start looking immediately if you aren't at a go-forward office location, directors and above informed today of Frank's chaotic "in-office" mandate and this will trickle to manager > IC employees next: Relocate or you will be gone before the holidays... — read more

our products

I've been thinking a bit about Fiserv's products// I think they should be better, but seems to me that the leadership doesn't give much thought to the ways our products could be improved?

Why don't they want talent?

It's not very clear to me what brought these people to Fiserv in the first place, but those are very talented young people who came here. It was immediately clear to me that they would not stay long. And indeed, one of them left after only a month... — read more

Used to be a good company

This really used to be a good company, but the banking marketing is shrinking and we are losing customers much faster than we can replace them by lying to new ones. The DNA lies are now catching up to us. Stupid purchases over the years and no one... — read more

Make a plan and stick with it

I know it's cathartic to come here and vent about the company but if that's the only thing you're doing you're in trouble. Take some time to make a plan about your future and start implementing it. It doesn't have to be anything major, but at least... — read more

Jack Henry has positions

For those of you just laid off, JHA is looking fit solid employees. Check is out! Been there 13 years and while we have laid off a handful, never mass cuts. 2008 Financial Crisis, 0 people laid off! Great culture and committed execs.

Stand your ground.

Just a reminder that Fiserv is a business driven by SLA. They may try to hard ball us into returning to a dreary work environment but if enough people complain or put up protest they will bend. Their SLA and revenue depends on it.

Great job Frank. Running Fiserv into the ground.

Did they lose control?

More people are leaving than ever. Has Fiserv lost control and can no longer keep anyone, or is that what Fiserv really wants - as many people as possible leaving on their own?

Understaffed and extremely tired

They have no intention of doing anything about the chronic shortage of people, do they? I’m afraid it’s going to get worse here because a lot of people are leaving just because of that. There’s a lot of pressure on them because of the shortage of... — read more
