With the sale is CCI wants to continue to handle marketing and call center operations for the new buyer. It's a package deal. They are doing that to save as many jobs at the CSC as possible. CCI will be sold but believe it or not they aren't in panic... — read more
After reading the SEC filing last week, I think we have to concern ourselves with the short term. That's likely layoffs. I don't know if they'll
Be 'massive' but I think they're coming. And quickly.
Hope no toner got shredded!
Live off coffee, toner, single sided copies, and Hate!

Not saying that it will save jobs but a sale WILL be made and CCI is not filing bankruptcy. Get over it lol. Lots of people know nothing on this site. Sorry but it's pretty obvious.

Unlike the last sale where CCi paid Biohealth to take some schools,
the new owner will suddenly make plenty of money. Sure Biohealth went bankrupt, yes, a Title IV school filed for bankruptcy, but that will never happen with the rest of CCi. Never. We have jobs and dreams, and toner, to save. The only problem with... — read more
I hope Jack is smiling and dialing.
Sheez! What is taking so long? Does Jack need some smiling and dialing training? Just pick up the phone and call. It's easy.
There will be NO leaks about a sake until certain things happen and they will announce.
ONLYhigh level execs are privy to what's really going on. Whatever 'management' is saying is rumor at best. CCI won't sell. They may sell property to these schools, but the schools are in no position to sell. They're broke and under criminal probes... — read more
Bwahahahahahahahahaha...look at all the desperation.
Why are you so concerned to keep your jobs at a place that is now the subject of a criminal probe? Are all of you REALLY gullible enough to think a. A buyer will buy CCI with all the problems it has..and KEEP the reasons for the problems (you) b... — read more
Considering all the ED action, who might ED approve to takeover CCi?
I'm just not so sure that the approvals will come automatically. Considering all the regulatory action in California, will any approval come quick and easy? So many seem to think that it's a quick and easy process.
If Remington College buy CCI, will they integrate Everest's online degree offerings?
Lets assume that this sale takes place. Remington online offers a only a handful of online degree programs. I'm under the assumption that they would absorb the Everest online offerings to further diversify their available programs. Would that be a... — read more
Remington
Remington is the non profit that has offered to buy cci. The main issue, however, is government freeing them from cci old civil liabilities. Got this from high up outside source.
One buyer for all the schools.
Management said one buyer will buy all the schools and it's a non- for profit organization. Where are they getting that from?
Does CCi have "administrative capacity to act as a fiduciary of federal student financial assistance funds?" Saving toner?
I do question how much "administrative capacity" CCi has when it takes months to admit the document production is not sufficient, that's including the statement "The Company takes its document productions obligations seriously and is continuing to... — read more

Did anyone read the SEC filing? It said nothing about a plan for bankruptcy.
But it did discuss more drastic cost savings. That means layoffs coming next. Probably start with highly paid, under busy management. Since enrollment has plunged, management has not seemed to be removed, despite having fewer need for them.
We will all start the new year without cci

Why will CCi file for bankruptcy? Because it has no cash or credit.
At some point Title IV funds won't matter, and the funds have not been enough for years. Operating at a loss, CCi can only go on for so long. We all understand that CCi does not want to go bankrupt, but given the path they are heading down, is there... — read more
