Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

There will be NO leaks about a sake until certain things happen and they will announce.

ONLYhigh level execs are privy to what's really going on. Whatever 'management' is saying is rumor at best. CCI won't sell. They may sell property to these schools, but the schools are in no position to sell. They're broke and under criminal probes. They aren't selling. Remember, it could be a tactic to keep you hopeful you keep your jobs. Until a formal sake is announced, don't speculate. Too much has to happen for a sale.

A criminal investigation is never a good thing. However, some of the areas they have been requesting data for have been reviewed by numerous regulators and civil courts in the past and have failed to gain traction. If there are any attorneys on this board I would live to hear your take on all this.

With all the document requests from the DOE, courts, etc I think the audit and regulatory folks are going to be around for a while longer and I doubt CCI will ever conduct another internal audit again.

335, what profit? Buying a school with no credit and pending a criminal investigation is not a profit turner.

So if it is all fake then why is the stock price hovering? Don't you think financial peeps know that a sale will occur and that is why they keep the price around here? Those dudes can smell a profit and they are swimming in blood.

Believe the lies and rumors. This gives the rest of us time to find jobs before 12,000 people are competing for the same ones.

They don't need a lower price. They are selling at rock bottom and nobody wants them.

Yes the art is in Leaking so you can get a lower price or have a competitor shy away. But most of those strategies are used with acquisitions where there is some "meat on the bone" money. Or market share. CCI is just a sad bunch of debt & negative value. Stop unicorn & fairy thoughts.
