Talked to my friend at Shell they said they are seeing people get 30 to 45 days at the office after notice before layoff and then 30 days pay after layoff. From rumors I gear it does not sound like chevron is going to get anywhere close to that.

In order to soar like eagles, we must first get rid of the turkeys. Chevron is full of middle management folks who shuffle emails instead of doing actual work. Lean and mean companies do not need them. The future is bright for those who have skills.
