I hope this post doesnt turn into a bunch of smartass remarks from you know it alls. 30 years ago we worked together for each other, now it seems some of your good managers kept thier mouth guarded for fear of firing them while protecting some good hardworking young people under them. I sure as hell hope that whoever is going to bring this company back will take notice of the common sense below the leadership teams levels and get rid of the detractors you have now.

This isnt 30 years ago. and you are a antique just like me.
The best advise I ever got was my granddad telling me "it's only worth what somebody is willing to give you for it". Some people are going to do very well with the assets Chevron is unloading.
My grandpa used to say "you cannot fix stupid"
Thanks 136610 Im going to remeber your saying and teach it to my 9 grand children
Right on. I hope so too. I have seen to many good leaders keep there mouth shut for one reason or another, probable self preservation most of the times. Like the old saying goes you can't argue with someone who could never understand.
