I call BS on the 401k match

I call BS on the 401k match. CHK is one of the best companies by far when it comes to matching. 1:1 to up to 15% is incredible. The rest I will say is plausible. CHK is not the best payer in the world. You came here for good benefits and the... — read more

At a new job this past week, 401k match better than CHK since they have a multiplier I can get up to the 51,500 High compensation employee total, since they match 2:1. My base salary is 14,000 higher, and I only get one bonus per year which is bigger... — read more

@7:59 If it is about cost, whatever is being saved by releasing the "high cost" talent is being spent to bring in high cost executives from Anadarko. Agree just prepping to sell. CHK no longer has a soul, just a empty hull of what it used to be. My... — read more

@6:58

@6:58. All choices are based on cost, not experience or need of the company. Where they can, older more expensive people are being replaced with younger 20 or 30 something's

Total joke on some of those promoted up. I have much better credentials and experience and now I have nowhere to move up in the company. A few of those promoted too early have now become cocky. This "I know it all attitude" by guys still living in... — read more

Less Chiefs but same reporting structure

Less Chiefs but same reporting structure. I bet 10-15% done with layoffs. What I don't think is that they will be finished by Nov 1. They have been very careful to say restructuring and not layoffs, RIF etc. There are still open management positions... — read more
