Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Less Chiefs but same reporting structure. I bet 10-15% done with layoffs. What I don't think is that they will be finished by Nov 1. They have been very careful to say restructuring and not layoffs, RIF etc. There are still open management positions and some decisions to be made with low level supervisors and where they can be combined etc. Notice the new management scheme is the same as it has always been 5 levels not counting low level supervisors. We are still having our processes meetings and those are a freaking joke. Post-its on the wall? Come on. We will see some major cuts but the total cuts are a long long way off.
