Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

It's a shame the cost of inexperience isn't factored in to layoff decisions

It's a shame the cost of inexperience isn't factored in to layoff decisions. A Landman, who is still employed, took over an area with a well on the drilling schedule. The Landman did not do any due diligence until the rig was literally moving onto the location when the Landman discovered CHK owned no acreage in the section. The Farmout Agreement was never approved or signed. This particular Landman will not be laid off because of Daddy. I can't wait to get out.
