Happy Thanksgiving to the AT&T family!
How many hours have you worked this week?
I'm asking because I'm convinced there are two groups of people at T. Those who work way too much and sometimes do 80+ hour weeks and those who barely have anything to do. We need some kind of balance because group one, of which I'm a member, is... — read more
How to try to keep a job here?
Given that I know a few people who did their job very well and ended up getting cut the same as those who barely did anything, apparently there aren't many rules when it comes to cut here. Also, those who were not buddies with the manager were... — read more

If You Invested $10,000 in AT&T in 1984, This Is How Much You Would Have Today
A $10,000 investment in 1984 would be worth $51,710 today, or a 4.4% compounded annual growth rate. That's a sorry performance compared to the S&P 500, which would be worth $263,000, or a 9% return, though slightly better than Verizon's own, or a... — read more
Mid-Markets
Has anyone heard if there will be more layoffs in the mid-market segments? This year or Q1? So far it sounds like a bunch of changes within the roles.

Will layoffs continue?
I don't remember many times T had layoffs on a Friday, but sadly, that doesn't mean much. Is there any way to be certain that there'll be no more cuts, at least for now?
Question about Surplus
I got surplussed. After 19 years with this company and I’m scared. Does anybody know how long it takes to get your severance pay after they remove you from payroll? Is it one pay period or much longer? I’m really freaking out.
I would rather get cut right away than be put on PIP
Even if they survive it, very few people ever recover from the PIP. That's why I would rather choose to be laid off right away. You?
