2023 b-a 2024 revenue - ask

Being asked for 2024 revenue outlook in June of 2023. We only have a current view into April of 2023 revenue and visionaries are asking for 2024 Revenue outlook? Seriously, this smells of a sale and with the product simplification it can’t be... — read more

What if I've always been virtual?

I've been with AT&T about 15 years. I've always worked virtually. I don't even have an office to go to, to speak of. I have a spot I could work at but none of my team is there. And I have no cubicle. Am I going to be required to move or face layoff?... — read more

There are no special scenarios for anyone L4 and below

They want to chop as many heads as quickly and cheaply as possible. Your scenario does not warrant special consideration. That is how desperate leadership is. They did this and it's your fault and you will pay. No relocation, no severance, nothing... — read more

Job swap

Example: if an Area Manager in the Atlanta area is identified as needing to relocate, because of his org, to Dallas and another AM in Dallas faces the same issue but to Atlanta would they consider allowing the employees to swap roles?

Positions with the highest turnover

I must say that very few of my colleagues have left considering that nobody is very happy here. Any idea which groups leave the company the most?

MY RTO letter

States that my position has been transferred to Chicago -- I live in Cedar Hill, Tx. My plan is to rent a room with a few other people and RTO and look out the window. I'm retirement eligible in 3 yrs. Good luck with getting any work out of us.

Understanding the impact

Many folks impacted by this RTO have offer letters that were marked as full virtual work (even before COVID). As positions were filled with many roles marked as virtual, many folks took these new roles which allowed them to follow through on their... — read more

How poor is your skillset?

I don't get it. So much panic among so many of you. How are you so unprepared for the possibility of losing your job? Are you so unemployable that you would rather uproot your entire family for the possibility of still having a job than quit and find... — read more

Rumblings from Finance Organization

Cash Flow Targets are at risk for the year. Q2 release will be bad and shownthe emperor has no clothes. Wall Street again will batter Stankey and Share Price. More layoffs and more incentives for Stankey to fix what he had destroyed.

YOU MATTER!

To coincide with the new RTO initiative the company is bringing back the YOU MATTER! marketing campaign! Can't wait to see the posters plastered on walls in the hallways and elevators!!!

With all the RTO news and I want to start prepare for the worst, realize I need to get an "outside" resume done and a up to date LinkedIn profile. Anyone have recommendations on a reputable company that does this. Did the whole internet search, but... — read more

Chicago?

It’s been a month now since the RTO announcement. At that time every Chicago employee started the rumor that Chicago would be added as a hub. Status?

There's a layer of age discrimination in this

Young people in their 20s and to some extent 30s who are not married and who mostly rent can pick up and leave whenever they want. Most of us who are 40+ don't have that luxury. Don't even get me started about people in their 50s and 60s. This isn't... — read more

Hope?

The company is falling apart

I remember better years, but I hardly remember any periods that were more chaotic than it is here now. You? The leadership is truly awful.

AT&T on resume....

is like telling the prospective employer you have limited capabilities. You can work on the same projects for years, collect a check, and somehow act like you have been wronged. If someone sees a AT&T job -it is a big pass....

“Surplus” in disguise

Executives knew about this all along. Throughout the forced reduction at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023. We would have been better off being laid off then. At least we would have had a severance package and been eligible for unemployment. The way... — read more
