Computer Outages
Is today just another day of planned outages or work stoppage going on?
All CSL and RSL positions are being eliminated.
But will be offered other lower paid positions. If they decline they will not get severance because it is considered to be a resignation since other positions were offered to retain employment.
Positions of need offered in place of severance
This morning we were told that around 2000 positions of need opportunities in phone service in different departments are to be offered at reduced pay to those RIF instead of severance settlements. Accept or quit on your own meaning no unemployment.
Allstate Claim Directors and higher see zero impacts
Director level bands up are NOT impacted in the claim RIF. All are protected. Remember that when you hear impact communication.
