Jan 2015 - we had a big layoff/buyout in the Midwest area for VZ Wireless. I'm not sure if other areas participated though. Effected employees were all non customer facing, AKA: Operations, Time & Attendance, Admins, various offline teams, Scheduling, Reporting etc.

So what was the total number affected? And what chance does one of them have to apply internally when they were just reduced by 10%?
All Non-customer facing ADs on a national level were told to reduce their work force by 10% - they all have 30 days to find a job internally or take a severance package
And all lower levels. Of course none of the bloated management was affected. And then they have the nerve to repost same level positions you can "apply" for. Why not just not fill those empty positions instead of ruining lives?
