The total for CWA6 is actually 600+...
CWA6 covers: AR/KS/MO/OK/TX - that's about 45 million people there, out of 330 mil in the nation (about 15%)... So, if we assume that this 600 is only 15% of the total cut we can extrapolate that the total cut is gonna be in a 5K to 6K headcount range... I'd bet it'll be about 8K but I may be exaggerating - keep in mind that there is no media coverage here... Tax cuts were great, rejoice...
Anyhow, the list shared earlier (link below) covers only CWA 6 for Technical Field Services / Customer Services Technicians... So, 300+ there, that's fine and accurate... But... CWA 6 got hit with more cuts in AT&T Technology & Operations, about 250 to 300... About 15 in Delivery Excellence. About 10 each in Tech Care and Finance. You need to dig through that CWA6 PDF to see all RIFs.
