I think it is all a crock......I am in the office daily and I work with folks who do VO and others in the office..If the person is responsible and dedicated they will work regardless of where they work. I do see people taking their two lunches, hour coffee breaks in the cafeteria and out the door early who work in the office and others who VO and I can reach them at home after 7:00PM when there is a Friday evening crisis.....It is the individual not the location they work in.....

More trashing of the VPN workers... LAME!!!
It suggests that VPN workers are older, and need to take naps, etc, all while earning a larger paycheck that the younger worker who still has to go in and deal with the in-house BS. With 20+ years, I've worked over half via VPN, and I work longer, harder and more 1000X productive than ever going into to be around no one I work with, no one on my projects, etc just plain pointless to go in. It's my observation that most that go in, walk around chit chatting sluggin coffee from a mug, and are at best giving 50% productive in a barely 6 hr day 'worked'.
The best part is that while you deal with traffic, mo--n bosses, under constant surveillance and over pay for parking, I am making twice what you make while taking that nap and watching Netflix. Sorry, I can't hear you complain while the hot tub jets are on.
Does that statement imply that AT&T does not care about work performance? Or does it suggest AT&T employees are no longer active in their work to be productive? What division of AT&T would you say this is most true?
The only people retired in place are the VPN workers. It must be nice to take a spa day while logged in to your mobile VPN, or a nice long nap followed by some Netflix.
They won't answer this until work hours because typing makes them look busy.
