I spend 3 hrs a day in my car driving to work, that's 15hrs a week i am wasting. One thing i can tell u is, im only working 2hrs out of 8 a day because i cannot concentrate due to the noise at this collaboration office. they waste my time, i waste theirs and be paid for it. Im not quitting.

Agreed 100%. There has been no additional action since the directive to head back to the office.

Amazingly, our first department wide call after the announcement our senior leader was speaking as his dog was barking in background.

Collaboration Zones are nothing more than a ruse to provide cover to the company to force anyone they want to get rid of out the door without fear of Age Discrimination. I seriously doubt that is going to hold up. In a few years, there will be a Class-Action lawsuit by older employees who were forced out due to this stipulation.

Of course, the lawsuit will be settled with undisclosed terms .

I said this so many times my coworkers will know it’s me, this is how it goes, T hires people who get paid quarter million de come up with ideas, at first they do a good job, then run out of ideas but still have to justify their salary with a PowerPoint so they start the BS.

Also more and more smart people are retiring. But the one i like is the company put people above your head who don’t know nothing about what it takes to do your job et voilaaaa

Chime in with any I left out. Now in regards to meeting with others for the first time....very over rated. I have a difficult time already getting the client/customer to respond by Q, email or conferencing.....put me face to face and there goes diplomacy!

Totally agree. I had managers, coworkers and even my internal customers who I teleworked with for many years that I never met in person. Everything was over the phone and Q/skype/attconnect/email. One time they decided to have a huge meeting in Alpharetta and they paid for me to join. It is funny how you picture people from their voice and they sometimes look completely different in person. I sat with my customers who I was very close with. My IT team was quite a bit more standoffish in person because of cultural differences.

At&t has the worst management of any public company. People used to be proud of working at at&t and keep pushing their products and services. Now all i see around is disgust and hatred, a lot of people just want to get out. Things will only go downstream from here.
