I was let go this time last year. Why would a year later would you send me a job offer if I can’t be rehired? Would this be a change in my file that prompted the job offer of IHX? Kinda intrigued what your responses are. Great company.

I was sent an email from recruitment mailing from recruitment team for a job in my area then the next day sent a job from recruitment mailing for Cricket
They can't do that "No Re-Hire" legally if you had been getting satisfactory performance reviews, standard of living raises no matter how small, and any amount of performance bonus. They can put you on a so called "No Re Hire List" that is nothing more than a subjective opinion about your future potential and the unspoken message is that if they think you are too old, then they tag you as limited potential. However, they can't formally tag you out orals they could and have been sued, rightfully so. That said, when companies do this - especially now days - they are ignoring the reality where there will and should be a span of many generations at work at once. All of the research supports this but HR is apparently the slowest to catch on to important and necessary evolutions in the work place. As the Boomers continue to retire, it will leave a huge hole that cannot be completely filled by the X'es as that was comparatively a pretty small generation. That said, they will need all the X'es that have skill and some boomers too to help develop the Mills and Gen Z's. This should be a wonderful time for older workers but T and many other corporations will need to learn the hard way and it will be really expensive to shareholders and the lives of many undeserved people who get laid off.
If you can’t be rehired back into this cesspool count it as a blessing
I think there was a class action suit and they abolished the no-rehire for employees let go or retired....This was big news a couple of years ago...…...Does it say you can't be rehired in any paperwork received?
