Informed this morning garage in downtown Orlando, FL closing Dec 27th 2019. Told there is a long list of other garages closing as well before end of year. Our garage has about 70 employees between Buried, WT, ST, and office staff. This is only speculation but I think this could lead to a big 1st quarter surplus for 2020.

Garage, yard, barn, work center, shop....all the same
Some yards have a garage for fleet services to work on vehicles and some yards don’t.
What exactly entails a 'Garage'? Are these strictly fleet ops facilities?
That’s because budgets have to be spent. Waste waste
The company is purging leased real-estate and moving techs, mngrs, engrs, to other locations. This is also happening in Texas, so it’s not just Florida. They have also sold buildings.
What is puzzling is several of these facilities have just spent loads of money on equipment and plant upgrades. Guess no-one checked with property management. Maybe they missed that meeting or email while voting “YES” on their ballot for the current leadership.
Nice to know, work at Goldenrod and, as usual, haven't heard a word.
Division St is closing. Being moved to Goldenrod.
wow
Division St. is a sh-- hole. They’ll keep that one.
Semoran is closing as well smh
Some of these yards are sitting on some pretty pricey land.
They have a number of yards for sale in Florida, including Jacksonville and Orlando. They have even closed yards and opened them back up without laying anyone off. Hopefully that’s all this is and they are just looking to consolidate space.
