Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How will June look in terms of layoffs?

I doubt that the layoffs will stop in the following month. Not a month of this year went by without at least som layoffs, I don’t see why this one would be any different. I was hoping to get some thoughts on what could the layoff numbers look in June, what positions could be targeted, are the layoffs gone be company-wide, or restricted to some organizations…?

Blue-badged employees who support legacy products who live far enough away from the massive offices so they are remote and are vested in a pension are who they seem to be targeting. My guess is they skim these folks off the top, then make life so miserable in the office for many more who will quit without a severance. Truly garbage leadership at the helm right now.

There have been massive cuts to inside employees the past few years and more are coming. If you are a inside employee supporting the older technology you are at risk.

Mainly outside techs is what I hear, so the safest place to be, if you are a wage scale 32, is INSIDE. They aren't laying those off those employees.
