Our group had the call at 2:00 p.m. eastern that another round of layoffs are coming. We will be notified by June 10th. Less than 7 months since the last one.

I worked 25 years without one sick day, hundreds of unpaid hours beyond 40 hours and every quarter wonder if I'll have a job. Shameful every year they ask me if I would recommend ATT as a place to work and I can't say yes anymore since I believe leadership goal is to have all jobs contracted to untrained overseas employees.
May 22nd Feinstein ATO call....5% to be cut...no indication when we will be told of final cut of who is in and who is out and no one seems to know.....we will all sweat it out until then and most on initial call already checked out or trying to save themselves......

Since the 15th falls on Saturday, the will probably make the announcement on Friday. Sometimes they wait until Monday so they can ruin our weekend

I feel bad for the folks that get the ax. If it comes to my .org and they make an announcement (no indications yet), then I will more than likely take the package this time. I’ll be leaving in a few more months anyways. Just depends on the timing on if I take it or not.
I received an email requesting me to indicate if I would like to volunteer to leave with severance, although it also stated that they cannot tell me at this time if my position will be included in the surplus. I am also under the Saxena organization.

They had a VSP for Comm Techs in Texas. I know of 2 that took it. Spoke with a splicer today. They were told anyone with less than 10 years are at high risk of surplus. Cut cables? Yeah, we really don’t care about copper Toll anymore.
Why do folks post exactly the type of notifications we all appreciate but with so little details. Seems like it could be a craft related surplus, but often those details Re overlooked in posts. Looking forward to the details, thanks in advance OP
