What kind of a patsy would talk about work ethic when the company demonstrates contempt for its employees every single day. Is there a more silly way to look at the world than to work hard for a company that doesn't value you or show you any loyalty? You really have to be a simpleton to think that way.
After the tax cuts a billion dollars of it was put into pension and benefits funding. They were preparing for what we see happening. Let’s not act as if everyone is in their hospital bed finishing projects after a triple bypass to show their work ethic. Most people still have performance metrics to meet. If those are not met then those people are probably on the chopping block for the next round of cuts. I would bet that end of year appraisals are going to be tougher. Also don’t know about the other regions but in mine the non management don’t get the full complement of job protection if they are on a step of discipline.

Yep pretty much what I did but I kept my skills up on my own and not what t was shoving down our throats.
The right opportunity came up and I left I couldn’t be brain dead any longer. Tried to wait to be paid but just couldn’t be brain dead any longer.
This attitude was created by T with how they treat their employees. The rash of re-orgs and random surplus activities k--led morale. Top performers have little incentive to perform.
