Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Is anything working out for AT&T at this moment?

The debt is piling up by the day, while the company has no idea what to do with all of its parts that were supposed to be the essential parts of AT&T businesses in the future, people being let go, some are leaving on their own… just makes me wonder will anything turn out OK for AT&T and will it ever be a successful company again?

Relax artificial intelligence replaces it all. Now hop in the back seat of your tesla and take off for Vegas, you don't need people to intervene and clean the mess that automation coded by the cheapest labor money can buy fails to recognize the guard rail in front of you. Good luck with that all.

More lay-offs coming in June and October . Family member was layed off in January and it was the BEST thing that ever happened to us. They found a job within a week after being layed off with more pay and 100% less stress. There is life outside of at&t

Lay off 1/3 of the remaining managers and offer a buyout to every craft personnel. That should free up a lot of ones for debt pay down there are so many people with 30+ years waiting for a buyout.

I don't think the debt is piling up, but it's a pretty big pile now. But they reduced it in the last quarterly statement, so they said. More importantly, a fiber buildout that they told the FCC they would do will complete this July, and judging by the recent Prem Tech layoffs, may be already winding down now.

That will free up more money to pay down more debt.
