Anyone notice that large post with many replies about how to leave the union was completely removed ? Makes you wonder if this board is run by CWA

You do not have to wait for any date to leave a union. You send in your letter to HR telling them to stop taking dues out of your check, and they have to abide. Regardless of the contract, it is against the law for any union to hold you hostage. I did not wait for any certain date according to contract, which is 2 weeks in April. I sent in my letter, before Christmas, and they stopped taking dues out of my check on the second pay period.
CWA totally owns this site. That's why ATT and Verizon are the busiest forums. The other companies in here are just for cover.
Each contract is different. In the SE, we have to send a certified letter to the CWA and HR within one week of our contract date(Aug 8th) That is the only time during the year you can do it. Many people have not been allowed to leave because they didn't fill the form out perfectly. Read the instructions!!!
CWA: You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. Welcome to the CWA!!! HAHAHA

Nah, couldn't possibly be run by the CWA.
If it were, the site would be down for maintenance or Stewards Training at least 3 days a week. There would be pop-up ads of dudes from the Garage asking you to sign another Rep card. Or what's her name from National emailing me to go blow Bernie Sanders or join a protest at some 7-11 clerks rally in Des Moines.
Instead, this site is just a bunch of w-------rrs laying logs in the 3rd floor restrooms.
Probably run by Randal's mail room guys as an inside joke.
Big brother... they are watching us.

Take your meds. It’ll help with the paranoia.
Read your contract. It may differ depending upon which district you are paying dues in. Did you learn to read yet?
its spelled out in the contract. i left, everything you need to know is right there. read.
So I’ll ask the same question the original poster did. How does one leave the union? Let’s see if they delete this entire topic as well
